At Operation Liberty Or Death, we give to a multitude of veteran, law enforcement, and first responder supporting charities. Store-wide, 50% of profits from the gear and equipment you buy, including 100% of profits from our Liberty Or Death merch and apparel go directly to the below charities rotating on a monthly basis, so you get the chance to give to the causes that matter to you the most. Below is our yearly OP-PLAN month by month where we have assigned 12 charities our team has hand-picked. We hope to help change the lives of those who gave the world so we can rest peacefully at night.
The Fisher House Foundation
Fisher House Foundation is a charity and foundation that builds comfort homes where military & veterans families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. Fisher Houses are located at major military and VA medical centers nationwide, and, in Europe, close to the medical center or hospital it serves. Fisher House Foundation ensures that there is never a lodging fee.
Mission 22 is a national community supporting active service members, Veterans, and their family members, through three areas of focus: Support and Treatment Programs— for active service members, Veterans, and their family members, addressing Post-Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury, suicide risk and other challenges. Social Impact— uniting civilians and the military community to raise awareness of issues active service members, veterans, and their family members face. Memorials— remembering and honoring service members and Veterans through large scale installations and digital initiatives, while raising awareness for issues faced on home soil.
Wounded Warriors Project
Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) began in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. As their post-service needs evolved, so have our programs and services. Today, through our direct programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with our advocacy efforts, we improve the lives of millions of warriors and their families.
Homes For Our Troops (HFOT)
HFOT's mission is to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.
Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.)
Each year, between 140 and 160 officers are killed in the line of duty and their families and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss. C.O.P.S. provides resources to help them rebuild their shattered lives. There is no membership fee to join C.O.P.S., for the price paid is already too high.
Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS)
Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.
K9's for Warriors
Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
Our sober transitional living program serves male veterans in recovery who are either homeless or face insecure housing; many of whom experience PTSD, mental health challenges, unemployment and other significant barriers, and do not have access to traditional veteran benefits. Through our 4-step program, we walk alongside each resident and support their self-directed plan for independence. We connect them to community resources to both help them achieve immediate goals and to ensure sustainable success. Since 2004, we have helped over 370 resident veterans through our transitional living program.
First Responders Children’s Foundation
First Responders Children’s Foundation provides financial support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty as well as families enduring significant financial hardship due to tragic circumstances. First Responders Children’s Foundation also supports, promotes, and facilitates educational activities and programs created and operated by first responder organizations whose purpose is to benefit children or the community at large.
National Fallen Firefighters Foundation
When a firefighter dies in the line of duty, the Foundation provides families with a place to turn. Families receive emotional assistance through a Fire Hero Family Network, which matches families with similar experiences and circumstances. Families receive a quarterly newsletter and specialized grief publications. Our website provides extensive information on benefits, Foundation programs, and other resources.
In March of 2003, Operation Gratitude sent its first four care packages to deployed service members in Iraq. Since its inception, the organization has provided opportunities for thousands of Americans to express their gratitude through hands-on volunteerism, in turn lifting the spirits of those who raise their hands to serve.
Operation Christmas Spirit
Operation Christmas Spirit is Operation Help a Hero's annual project, going 18 years strong, which supports military families, single service members and unit morale boosting events during the holiday season. We provide opportunities for the community to Spread the Spirit of Christmas and joy of the holiday season to our troops who sacrifice so much for our country.
